Some explanation of why it is best would be good…?
This is an advice from a fellow golfer:
“I desperately need to improve my golf game, with something added to my regular practice that can help. Tell me how to do it, with personal or someone else’s experience, avoiding quoting any manufacturers
It all boils down to your how your ball flight is. Having taught for many years now, and I’ve found two products that seem to help oneself improve. One is for people who likes to hook the ball (ball moves from right to left for a right handed player). Most people who does that holds the golf club “inside” on the backswing have the club’s face pointing at the ground, instead of facing the front when the club is parallel to the land. This aid helps both of those problems.
If you love hitting a slice, you should use the Inside Approach. I think that it is by far the best training aid I’ve seen. A slice (an action where you swing from left to right ball flight for right handers) is caused by coming “over the top”. The fastest way to know if this works for you, is how you divots! If your divots point left of your target (for a right hander), than you have an “outer to inner” swing, causing the ball to spin.
You will need lessons to help you know about your mistakes; In other words, how to swing from the inner to outer circle. A little piece of advice here. If the instructor tells you your mistakes, but doesn’t show you exactly how to do, then LEAVE! Your buddies will be able to spot you (provided they know what to spot!), and it’s even better if a pro can tell you what is right. ”
Hope this helps! Good luck and have fun!
